Ultimate List of RPC Ping Services For Your Blog

Matt Ridings has a nice list of blog ping services he calls, "Ultimate List of RPC Ping Services For Your Blog". Use this list to get the word out that you have posted something new on your blog.

Here is the list. All credit goes to Matt, and I'm sure he would appreciate a comment on his blog if you find this list useful. I'm simply passing along his good work.

URL Dogma for Community Server

A long time ago I read Ian G's blog post about URI design and his approach immediately appealed to me. His ideas on this subject continue to withstand the test of time, so I recently decided to implement this design for Community Server. Next I may attempt to do the same thing with Subtext, which runs this blog.
Ian's stated goals for his URL design were:

The Problem of Open Source in the DotNet World

If you missed Oren Eini's (a.k.a. Ayende Rahien's) post on The Problem of Open Source in the Microsoft World, I would highly recommend it. He makes a lot of points I wish I had made in my earlier posts on open source in the .NET community.

One of the commenters on Ayende's post said, "This is the most well-written explanation of the dillemas which are caused by MS lack of support for OSS." Ayende's post is definitely worth reading if you are interested in this subject.

Stephen Hawking On Computer Viruses

Please examine identified tags. Are they acceptable? (Y/n) Y
Checking that the base URL is a Subversion repository.
Running svn log -r HEAD file:///svn/vendortest/vendor/loadpng

operable program or batch file.
E:\bin\dev\ svn log -r HEAD file:///svn/vendortest/vendor/loadpng

I'm Looking for A Web Designer and Illustrator

I've been looking for someone to do the design work for this web site since before I launched it. So far, I have not had any luck finding the right person for my budget. I need a logo and the full site design - including the css, html, illustrations, etc. (I can handle the code-related parts of creating the skin, if needed.)
